The third ICC World Twenty20 was held in the West Indies and England clinched it after winning against their arch rivals Australia at Barbados on May 16, 2010.

12 teams participated in the tournament were Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, South Africa, India, Afghanistan, West Indies, England and Ireland.

England was led by the all rounder, Paul Collingwood, the entire team played as a combined unit  and that resulted in grabbing the Twenty20 crown.
