Asian Cricket Council Twenty20 Cup 2011/12, is currently underway inNepal, four matches were played on December 4, 2011. The highlights of the matches with their comparative results are as follows.

Afghanistan vs. Oman

The match was played at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur (neutral venue).

Batting – Afghanistan

117 runs, all out in 19.3 overs, Mohammad Shahzad 24, Shabir Noori 21 and Karim Sadiq 15 runs.

Bowling – Oman

Ajay Lalcheta four, Aamir Khaleem three, Awal Khan and Hemal Mehta one wicket each.

Batting – Oman

77 runs, all out in 19.4 overs, Amir Ali 19, Lalcheta 17 runs, no other batsman could reach double figures.

Bowling – Afghanistan

Hamid Hassan and Mohammad Nabi, two wickets each, Dawlat Zadran, Karim Sadiq, Nawroz Mangal, Samiullah Shenwari and Zamir Khan, one wicket each.

Result –Afghanistan won by 40 runs.

 

Bhutan vs.Maldives

The match was played at Engineering Campus Ground, Lalitpur(neutral venue).

Batting – Bhutan

77 runs, all out in 18 overs, Tshering Dorji 13, Kumar Subba 12 and Barun Wakhley unbeaten 11 runs.

Bowling – Maldives

Moosa Kaleem, three, Mohammad Mahfooz, Ahmed Faiz and Abdullah Shahid, two wickets each, Hassan Ibrahim, one wicket.

Batting – Maldives

78 runs for the loss of one wicket in 12.1 overs, Moosa unbeaten 48 and Abdullah 19 runs.

Bowling – Bhutan

Thinley Jamtsho, one wicket.

Results –Maldives won by nine wickets.

Kuwait vs. Saudi Arabia

The match was held at Engineering Campus Ground, Lalitpur(neutral venue).

Batting – Saudi Arabia

96 runs, all out in 19.2 overs, Rizwan Qayyum unbeaten  29, Hammad Saeed and Babar Hussain, 19 runs each.

Bowling – Kuwait

Mohammad Asghar, three, Mohammad Murad, Abdullah Akhunzada and Azmatullah Nazeer, two wickets each.

 Batting – Kuwait

97 runs for the loss of four wickets in 13.3 overs, Yasar Idrees 37, Mohammad Asghar 13 and Mohammad Irfan 11 runs.

Saudi Arabia – Bowling

Khawar Sohail, two and Faheem Afrad,  one wicket.

Result –Kuwait won by six wickets

Nepal vs. United Arab Emirates

The match took place at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

Batting – Nepal

95 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs, Mahaboob Alam 17, Subash Khakurel and Binod Bhandari, 14 runs each.

Bowling – United Arab Emirates

Ahmed Raza, three, Shadeep Silva and Rohan Mustafa, two wickets each, Khurram Khan one wicket.

Batting – United Arab Emirates

99 runs for the loss of four wickets in 18.3 overs, Shaiman Anwar 33, Abdul Rehman 19, Faizan Asif 13 runs.

Bowling – Nepal

Amrit Bhattarai,  three wickets and Basanta Regmi, one wicket.

Result – United Arab Emirates won by six wickets
